Delete your Covelant Data

You can request deletion of your Covelant account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to do that and what to expect.

How to request deletion

By clicking the button below you will send an email to privacy@covelant.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” In the email, please include:

- The email address associated with your Covelant account, so we can locate it
- The full name on your Covelant profile, if different from your email
- Confirmation that you are the account holder requesting the deletion


What will be deleted

On confirmation of your request, we will delete:

- Your Covelant profile (name, email, avatar, preferences)
- Match recordings, highlight clips, and AI-generated performance analytics associated with your account
- Match metadata you created (tags, notes, saved collections, score data)
- Your push notification device tokens and authentication records
- Backup copies, after our standard backup rotation has completed (typically within 30 days of the deletion request)

All information listed above will be securely removed from our systems and will not be recoverable after deletion is completed.

What may be retained

A limited amount of data may be retained after your account is deleted, only where we are legally required to keep it or where it is necessary for the security of our service:

- Anonymised aggregate statistics that no longer identify you
- Records required by accounting, tax, or other legal obligations
- Security and fraud-prevention logs, retained only for as long as necessary
- Match footage that includes other identifiable players who did not request deletion may be retained for those players’ use, with your personal identifiers removed where technically feasible

Retained data is handled according to strict privacy and security standards to ensure it is not used for any unrelated purposes.

Timeline

We will acknowledge your request within 7 days of receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days. Backup rotations may extend this period by a further 30 days.

If your request requires additional verification or is unusually complex, we will let you know.
